The Conner Group to host Autism Acceptance Celebration April 4 in Tifton

TIFTON, Ga. – A day focused on awareness, inclusion, and community support is coming to Tifton as The Conner Group for Pediatric Therapies prepares to host its annual Autism Acceptance Celebration.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 4 at Fulwood Park, beginning with the “Shine On” 5K and Fun Run at 8 a.m. Organizers say the race is designed to be inclusive for participants of all abilities.

Following the run, a full day of activities will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering something for the entire family. Attendees can enjoy local food trucks, vendors, live music, and a variety of sensory-friendly activities, along with access to community resources aimed at supporting individuals and families.

The event also includes a fundraising raffle, with a grand prize of $10,000. Proceeds will benefit the Kalos Academy Building Campaign, which supports the development of a dedicated school for exceptional learners.

Organizers say the goal of the event is to create a welcoming, inclusive environment while raising awareness and support for autism acceptance across the community.
