TIFTON, Ga. – A popular community cycling event is making its return this weekend, inviting riders of all experience levels to hit the road.

The Tiftarea YMCA will host the 16th Annual Tour de Tifton on Saturday, March 28, at its Hunt Park campus, located at 1823 Westover Road.

The annual ride features a variety of route options, ranging from an 11-mile beginner course to longer distances including 24, 45, 48.5, 62, and a 100-mile century ride. Organizers say the event is designed to accommodate cyclists of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced riders.

Check-in and registration will take place from 7:00 to 7:30 a.m., with a mass start scheduled for 8:00 a.m. Participants are encouraged to arrive early, as day-of registration will close at 7:30 a.m.

Riders can expect support along the course, including snack and drink stops, as well as a post-ride meal once they cross the finish line. The scenic routes will take cyclists through the gently rolling countryside surrounding the Tifton area.

Organizers say Tour de Tifton is not only about fitness, but also about bringing the community together for a day of fun, fellowship, and healthy activity.
