Made in Lowndes Open-Air Market set for Saturday in Valdosta
VALDOSTA, Ga. – Local artists, growers, and makers will take center stage in downtown Valdosta this weekend during the Made in Lowndes Open-Air Market.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, March 21, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the lawn of the Historic Lowndes County Courthouse.
The outdoor market will feature a variety of local vendors offering handcrafted goods, fresh products, homemade treats, and other unique items created by artists, growers, and small business owners from across the region. The event highlights locally made and locally grown products while celebrating the craftsmanship and agricultural roots of Lowndes County.
Organizers say the market is designed to bring the community together while supporting local entrepreneurs and showcasing the creativity found throughout the area. The event is also supported by Georgia Grown, which promotes locally produced food and agricultural products across the state.
Visitors are encouraged to stroll through the courthouse square, meet the makers, and explore the many vendors set up throughout the market.
