City of Thomasville to kick off First Friday Concert Series March 6

THOMASVILLE, Ga. – A new season of live music is set to begin in Downtown Thomasville as the 2026 First Friday Concert Series kicks off Friday, March 6, from 8 to 10 p.m. at The Ritz Amphitheater.

Hosted by the City of Thomasville, the free concert series runs March through December and brings a mix of local, regional, and nationally recognized artists to the heart of downtown each month.

Local favorite Blue Burden will headline the March 6 opener, delivering their signature Southern soul sound to kick off the season.

Food trucks will be on-site at The Ritz Amphitheater, and participating downtown shops will stay open late for the popular “Sip, Shop, & Dine” experience, giving attendees even more ways to enjoy the evening.

  • December 4 – Mixtape – 80s Tribute Band

First Friday continues to be one of Thomasville’s most popular community events, drawing residents and visitors alike for a family-friendly night of entertainment.

Concerts are free and open to all ages. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and settle in for an evening of live music in the heart of Downtown Thomasville.
