Just days before an FDA committee could give the green light to Covid-19 boosters, the debate over whether they’re necessary is heating up with an opinion piece out today in The Lancet. A group of international vaccine scientists, including two retiring FDA leaders, saying Covid-19 vaccines do not currently show a need for boosting. Others say an additional dose provides further protection against severe Covid-19. We look at both sides.
