Supermarket armed robbery suspect sought in Cordele
Gun toting shopper escapes with unknown amount of money in Monday night hold-up

CORDELE, GA- Cordele Police are looking for a gun toting grocery shopper who robbed a local supermarket last night at gunpoint.
Cordele Police Lieutenant Charles Pheil says a little after 9:15 last night, officers responded to an armed robbery call at the Cordele Supermarket on West 24th Avenue.
The unknown male suspect was wearing a black mask, black shower style cap, black short sleeved shirt, gray jogging pants, and a pair of white and black Nike shoes. The suspect fled the store before the officer’s arrival with grocery items and an undisclosed amount of money. The store clerk was not injured.
