Dawson PD seeks information on three individuals attempting vehicle entry

DAWSON, Ga. — The Dawson Police Department requested the public’s help with information on the three individuals in the picture above. They are accused of attempting to enter an auto in the 300 block of Cinderella Lane. The vehicle was locked and the alarm went off when the door was tampered with.
There were two other break-ins that occurred within the same area. Those vehicles had not been secured. Dawson PD would like to remind the public that if they see someone tampering with their vehicle, they should not confront the suspect(s) but call local law enforcement immediately.
DPD would also like to remind the public of these helpful tips to prevent auto break-ins:
1. Do not leave valuables in plain view: (GPS devices, laptops,PDA’s, cell phones, MP3’s, wallets, purses)
2. Do not leave windows or sunroofs open.
3. Do not leave doors unlocked.
4. Do not leave keys in the vehicle.
5. Do not leave the garage door opener in plain view.
6. Do not leave items with personal information in the vehicle.
7. Do not move valuable items to the trunk while in public view.
