Arrest

MORGAN, Ga. – According to a press release, Coffee County detectives were called to the area of Georgia Hwy. 32 East March 12 regarding a possible burglary. Upon arrival, officers found a vehicle bogged down in the yard behind the residence at that address. Investigation of the vehicle revealed several items that had been reported stolen from the home and an outbuilding.

The truck was identified as having been reported stolen to a Bacon County law enforcement officer and was registered to Michele Adams of Coffee County.

One of the three people suspected of having committed the theft went onto a nearby property and is alleged to have stolen items there as well.

After a brief investigation, detectives charged Adams with criminal trespass. The two other suspects — Jay Carroll Fergueron and Timothy Luther Hutchinson, both of Coffee County, were charged with burglary in the first and second degrees. Fergueron also faces an additional charge of entering an automobile.
