CORDELE, GA – The Atlanta area murder suspect who was captured Tuesday night along I-75 in Crisp County has already been formally charged in all of the eight slayings.

Early Wednesday, 21 year old Robert Aaron Long was taken back to Cherokee County where his murderous rampage allegedly began.

This afternoon, deputies revealed the first official charges against him.

Long faces four counts of first degree murder and one count of assault in Cherokee County. Atlanta Police followed suit with the fatal shootings of four more people at two massage parlors on Piedmont Road in northeast Atlanta.

Six of the eight deceased are reportedly of Asian descent, but authorities caution that the gunman’s motive may not have been racially motivated.

Deputies say Long has confessed to the killings and that he suspects he has a sex addiction.

Police believe Long was heading to Florida when he was stopped in Crisp County.
