Dawson PD initiates Car Care Program

DAWSON, Ga. — The Dawson Police Community Policing Unit has partnered with local stores in the “Car Care Program” aimed at building trust while helping the public save money.

Motorists pulled over for equipment violations will be given a written warning detailing the violation and given a 10% off coupon good at the partner stores. This will help residents save money while bringing their vehicles into compliance with state and local laws and making for safer travel in the area.
