Cairo and Thomasville, Ga– It’s finally that time of year! Thanks to your votes, CBS 44’s first game of the week goes to Cairo vs. Thomas County Central!

To preview this rivalry game, CBS 44 sports reporter Mary Alex Anders sat down with Yellow Jacket Head Coach, Justin Rogers, 4-star defensive back, Kendarius Reddick,  Syrupmaker Head Coach, David Coleman and starting linebacker, Jeremiah Williams. However, with Beyond the Whistle, we dive deeper than just game-talk. These episodes provide the opportunity for fans to get to know their favorite coaches and athletes for who they are, not what they do or how they play. Because in these episodes, champions are people, first!
