Douglas PD name suspect in Saturday slaying

28 year old Kendrick Mizell is wanted for murder of Antravious Johnson

DOUGLAS, GA — The Douglas Police Department wasted little time in identifying a suspect in the Saturday fatal shooting of Antravious Z. Johnson.

Via the department’s Facebook page, Tuesday morning police revealed they want to speak to 28 year old Kendrick Mizell in connection to Johnson’s murder.

Johnson was found dead Saturday in the 900 block of South Gaskin Avenue.

The post did not explain how detectives have tied the suspect to his alleged victim.

But police did note they consider Mizell armed and dangerous, and that he should not be approached.
