Dougherty County Judicial Building Closed Today

ALBANY, Ga. – The Dougherty County Judicial Building at 225 Pine Avenue will be closed today due to an emergency transformer blowout.

The City of Albany Utilities will be working throughout the day to replace the transformer.

They anticipate the repair to be completed by the end of the day, but South Georgia TV will keep you updated as we learn more.

Due to the closure of the courthouse, Municipal Court will be taking payments for citations at Treasury and payments for bonds at APD.
