Early morning shooting near ASU East Campus

ALBANY, Ga. -Albany State University Police are looking for the person responsible for shooting an Albany State University student early Saturday morning.
Police were called to the Scene at Sandhills, an apartment complex near campus, at 2:48 a.m. after a large crowd had gathered there in a parking lot and shots were fired, according to a release from the university.
Police learned that an unidentified man fired shots which resulted in a female student being injured by gunfire.
She sought treatment from a local hospital.
