ASU Hosts President’s Speaking Series with Dr. Joseph W. Walker, III

ALBANY, Ga. – Albany State University’s Office of the President and the Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management is pleased to invite the community to the Albany State University President’s Speaking Series this Thursday.

The university is honored to welcome revered teacher, humanitarian, businessman, and community leader, Dr. Joseph W. Walker, III, as our featured speaker.

Dr. Walker is Senior Pastor of the historic Mount Zion Baptist Church in Nashville, International Presiding Bishop of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship, and a bestselling author whose books, including “Leadership and Loneliness” and “Restored At The Root,” speak to the emotional weight leaders carry and the path toward healing and restoration. A scholar to his core, he holds degrees from Southern University, Vanderbilt University, and Princeton Theological Seminary, and he has spent his career pouring into the next generation of college students across the country.

Albany State University President’s Speaking Series takes place Thursday evening, September 24th, at 6:00 p.m. in the Billy C. Black Building Auditorium on the ASU East Campus, 504 College Drive in Albany.
