18th Annual Barnes Drug Store 5K Fun Run and Splash Dash

VALDOSTA, Ga. – Since 2009, Barnes Drug Store has raised and donated over $1 million for the Valdosta community through its annual 5k event. Every year, this event and donations are made possible by the companies, organizations, and individuals in the community that provide valuable support to this mission.

This year, all proceeds and donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $100,000 to benefit Sandy’s House, a local organization that holds a 12 month residential faith based program. They are located in Valdosta, and the program is set up to help women ages 18 and older who are suffering from addiction.

The 18th Annual Barnes Drug Store 5-K Fun Run & Splash Dash will take place at 7:30 a.m. this Saturday, July 18th, at 200 South Patterson Street in Valdosta. To find out more about Sandy’s House, check out their website at https://www.sandyshouse.org/.
