Dooly County Sheriff’s Office needs assistance locating missing man

UNADILLA, Ga. — On Wednesday, March 20th at approximately 9:00am, Eddie Lee West of 2715 Barber Shop

Road, Unadilla, Dooly County, Georgia left his residence. Mr West was to travel to Hawkinsville, Georgia and on to Bonaire, Georgia, then back home.
Mr Eddie Lee West is a black male, 5 foot 6 inches in height and approximately 190 pounds. He is 79 years of age. He may be in the beginning stages of Alzheimer or dementia. Mr West was last seen wearing a light plaid blue and white shirt, blue jeans and black air nike tennis shoes. mr west was driving a silver 2011 Chevrolet Impala bearing Georgia tag PGR5023
Mr West was located on East Flournoy Road, Hawkinsville, Houston County, Georgia between 1:00pm and 2:00pm on Wednesday visiting with family. Mr West left this location and was to travel to Houston hardware and garden center in Bonaire, G ato purchase seed for his garden. in speaking with employees of the Houston hardware, they remember seeing Mr West come into the store.
