Crisp County traffic stop leads to drug bust
The Crisp County Sheriff’s office has arrested two people following a traffic stop Wednesday morning.
Deputies arrested Rodney Hernandez, 24, and Melinda Zamora, 21, of Lansing, Michigan, after their car was pulled over on I75 for speeding.
A search of the vehicle resulted in finding Marijuana, 55 envelopes of cannabis wax, extract edibles infused with cannabis, and more than $7,000 in cash.
Both face charges including Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance, while Zamora is also charged with Speeding in Excess of Maximum Limits, and Window Tint Violation.
