Crisp County Sheriff applauds quick response from emergency workers
CRISP COUNTY, Ga. – Cordele firefighters were called to a fire close to home on March 5. According to the Crisp County Sheriff’s Department a backup voice recorder caught on fire at the 911 Center. It broke out around 11:10 in the morning. A Paramedic/EMT was able to extinguish the small fire before the fire department arrived. The EMS Director says the quick response saved major equipment in the IT closet.
Sheriff Billy Hancock said, “I applaud all involved personnel for their hard work and quick response.”
